I love to have large fleets so I do not care for CP at all. In my opinion, it limits gameplay. Sure you have more ships in battles but that it what makes it fun to play.

Its a game and for fun but who knows, perhaps in the future terraforming will be as simple as building a house.If you ask me, i would fix this terraform to be more "realistic". Only that few planets could be terraformed.

I dont mind starting at a disadvantage, as long as I have a chance to at least keep pace, not end up as the underdog that everyone will attack every singe time. It is fairly hard to catch up in the mission mode. You can use diplomacy to trade for a tech that makes your enemies weapons obsolete or u...

Actually, the mission based game will always put you at a disadvantage and it is by design. Classic mode on the other hand will always start all races at the same tech (equal footing). Hence, I always play in classic mode and not because I don't like the missions, but because it starts everyone at t...

Is this occurring in every game or just one? I know I have had a couple games where I had to trade to get an armor tech, so it is possible that this is game play bug/issue with the armor techs.

Please note that you don't want to modify these files directly,
I would like to add that the reason for this is because that updates will overwrite any files not in the mod dir.

Also , it helps to build up research laboratories on planets. I like to have at least one per a planet but there are some that I dedicate to research. You may even want to concentrate your research a little in one area for a 8-10 turns and if needed you can further concentrate on a given tech within...

I would suggest using the reporting tool. Also, were you using the original or testing version?
