Re: Game Won't Start
are you running this as an admin? if not it sounds to me like something is fiddiling with your system. my first steps (after restarting) would be running rkill, malwarebytes and tds killer just to see if they pick up anything. the absolute last resort would be reinstalling windows from the ground up...

Re: Occupation and Terraforming
i would belive realistically terraforming would be a time consuming and 1 big chunk of change to buy the facility (think aliens) then a lower turn by turn maintainence for the people working it (since concieveably the planet cant support your population) i am all for changing the graphic of the plan...

Re: Auto combat ignoring threats
i belive its related to "orbit planet" order. they'll move and not repond to anything till they get there. ex. have your planet invaded. send your fleet waiting out of sector they'll arrive on the outskirts of your solar system. order them to orbit your planet being invaded. watch the magi...

Re: Upcoming test version
AI ships can some times sneak up out of nowhere and get a fleet deep into your system before you knew they where even there. would seriously adore a horizonized moo2 version of this, very obvious fleets traversing the stars. unless of course they have stealth.. but thats just mean.. stupid darloks....

Re: Colonization ships behaviour
I like resupplying colony ships. It differentiates Horizon from other 4x games colony ships that are all single use. this. (although i dont think i ever used it they make good scouts afterwords, and their cheap) its a feature, in my book. also think of putting one on a warship. turn the surface to ...

classic, no missions no tutorial. 4.42 Current strat: no colonies only outposts untill the tech is there for them to draw a profit. (around 200?) turns (terrans excluded) no industry on earth (after cleanup, dump industry) research far too important. no research on other planets (they dont give rese...

(rare habitable planets) Economy is stagnant, much much more difficult to just buy your way to victory population growth is excessively stagnant, mars never really blossomed, my large terran never produced research (really) standard civ's tech's comple...

Alpha 3.38 saves sent with the issues i had with bombardment - not exactly sure what the problem was but ordering to bombard made my fleets return home (tested with different types of ship weapons on board) This is resolved as of 3.40. excellent Invasions need to be tweaked to happen sooner (perfer...

Re: Planetary Defences
if they -did- rotate it would further increase their defensive value. although i would reccomend making station only 360 weapons. or at least 180. rotation to simulate gravity would be a little realistic tho - maybe a few station based tech's (gravity control) allowing manual rotation >:) or planet ...

havent seen the comp launch a counterstrike that could overwhelm 20MS. either poor design (putting all your lasers on one bank) or the known combat bug of your ships not returning fire. =)
really.. fkn hate it when they break my frontal mount lasers.. seriously.

right now this early i alpha you have to self limit. try never building a colony, or not useing motherships, or both. declare war on the ai the moment you see them.
pray they dont use my gameplay as the hard mode computer =P
