All you need is at least the first level of the Terraforming technology, so some research is needed. Once you have the tech, then you can start colonizing the non-gas giant planets. You don't have a terraforming command, if that's what you're wondering.

I don't know if this idea would work out as intended, because a lot of players will just think, "Great! I can fit more weapons!" and do just that, making a bunch of glass cannon scout ships for system defense or swarm tactics. As an alternative suggestion: Keep the scout's weight limit the...

you arent supposed to go further than your supply will allow. supply = fuel iirc however i you can go further out of your supply range. its just slower I understand this part. However, it looks like scouts always have zero supply, so the game flip-flops between telling you they're in supply or out,...

Keyboard shortcuts help. Click on the ship or fleet, press the key for the desired action (e.g. O to Orbit, C to Colonize, M to Move, etc.) and then click the target destination.
