More population on planets!

Is there a way to customize this thing ?
I'm having fun with the game but the hard AI is horrible , rarely populating more than 1 planet per system,hours into the game.
Can planent capacity be modded from user end ? or have some tech that does that ? Huge worlds with 100b pop,that would be alot of fun.

Well, technically, that is alot of people, but then again, there are atleast 6 billion people on this planet and i think if we learned how to make desert land more liveable, probably ALOT more could be sustainable, but 100b????? too many.
