I'm not a fast player like some of these other guys. I'm still doing the tutorial stuff.
I think the tutorial should be divided into topics. Right now it's rather tedious to go from the multiple turns of waiting while the scout is built, to the multiple turns of waiting while the assault ship is built, to the multiple turns while the colonizer is built ....
I'd rather see like:
1) a tutorial in which the scout is already available, movement to Pluto, survey of the probe, then build of the assault craft, and then the assault
2) a separate tutorial on the colonization of Mars, in which the colonizer is already built (since you've already covered building ships with the build of the assault craft)
and so on down the line of topics.
As an alternative, if you really only want one tutorial covering everything, just make sure the player doesn't have to do the same task more than once.
