Is ship refitting planned?

Ship refitting would be a really useful feature. Not just for when I notice I've put regular instead of heavy beams on a fleet of ships but want to upgrade to new weapon type. Is there any plans to introduce such a feature?

Definitely something we would like to add as well. Perhaps once the priority features are complete we can make the UI changes to allow this. It is just a UI thing, just a matter of time.
