Colony Ships!
Hi, After founding a colony, the ship is still there unlike other games but I'm unable to use the ship again. Is this the way it's designed? Is there a way to resupply the ship and colonize other planets with it or just scrap it?

You can resupply the colony bay on a ship by telling it to orbit your colony with a star base built.
This somewhat makes up for the absence of colony bases as with one colony with a starbase you can colonize the whole system with just one ship.
However, in most cases you'll have enough money to instantly buy another one on a just founded colony, using the ship with spent colonizer as a scout.
It makes even more sense, as you can't scout with a scout - there's not enough space available in their hulls even for one supply bay.
Keep in mind that you can modify the star base design, just look at the top of the screen in "design".
Currently it's a necessity as designs do not autoupdate.
