I'd like to see the name of the alien Race that i'm communicating with on the screen.
I'd like to have the availability to change each tech by 5 % increments by a plus and minus button next to each tech.
I would definitely like to be able to play as one of the other alien Races.
Multiplayer, need I say more? so far this game "ROCKS" I love it I have play it for 29 hours!
a few improvements

Re: a few improvements
When it comes to multiplayer, I find it rather boringly predictable, but as long as the presence of multiplayer doesn't diminish the single player stuff and the balancing of multiplayer doesn't screw over single player, I am not bothered if there will be multiplayer or not.
I do like the other stuff you mentioned though.

Re: a few improvements
The tech suggestion was discussed in another thread. I think many people would want this. Though I think some of us (well the OP and I agreed with him) that there should still be a floor and a ceiling. As much as going 100% with 0% in everything is tempting, it will defeat the purpose of the tech system (also, you can't just stop science on everything just to come up with 1 thing. To make a WW2 reference, though a lot of effort was placed in making the nuke, we still came up with better plating for navy ships, better guns, better planes, better engines and fuel mixtures, and explosives.).
Perhaps the same floor and ceiling we have now. Nothing can go lower than 10%, the highest is 50% in a branch. But you have all the room you want between those two. So You can go 30 30 10 10 10 10 if you want, or 35 20 15 10 10 10.
Disabled for the moment, there is a race customisation feature that will let you make your own race (ie Alien) to play as. Let me dig up the dev's post, he has a good one at Space Sector, I will find it and link it here for you.
I have mixed feelings about MP, I don't want to sacrifice the SP game to try to get that in. Now if the SP games is epic, and they have time and can add in MP... then for sure. Go for it. I think the devs mentioned they will consider it for later once they have finished what they set out to do at the start and if there is a demand for it.
Here is the quote from Space Sector by the lead developer I believe:

Hello everyone, there has been some confusion about playing different races in Horizon so hopefully I can help clarify.
What we have planned is that you have the option to create your own custom race in Horizon, give it a name, select racial traits/unique abilities and so on and still be able to play with open-ended missions and experience galaxy lore which is a unique feature in Horizon that we think players will really enjoy!
This custom race can be a modded race, one of the alien races (this is still custom in that sense) or any race you can imagine and want to play as with mods.
With respect to playing Humanity, there are some unique storyline elements that can only be experienced by playing as humans which we might expand on later (in add-ons) and allow a different perspective & expanded storyline.
These are our current intentions which is going to be shaped with input from the 4x community and our early adopters. We have already received a lot of positive feedback from people who have tried Horizon in the past few days and we look forward to your suggestions to make it a better game for all those who like 4x games.
